In collaboration with Creador Agave Spirits, I created a series of paintings for six different mezcal blends. Each painting tells the story of José Alberto Pablo, a third-generation maestro palenquero, working with his family in San Bernardo Mixtepec, Oaxaca, Mexico to make unique small-batch agave spirits.
